Anschubstipendium Doktoratsprogramm "Recht im Wandel" 1Die Juristische Fakultät zählt zu den ältesten der sieben Fakultäten der Universität Basel. Sie umfasst die Bereiche Lehre, Forschung und Dienstleistung im rechtswissenschaftlichen Bereich. Ihr gehören rund 250 Mitarbeitende und über 1'200 Studierende an. Die Juristische Fakultät der Universität Basel schreibt im Doktoratsprogramm «Recht im Wandel» ein einjähriges Anschubstipendium über CHF 30'000.- aus. Der Antritt des Stipendiums erfolgt per 1. April 2026.Ihre AufgabenAnschubstipendien erlauben es den Doktorierenden, in der Startphase des Doktorats einen Förderantrag auszuarbeiten, um sich beim Nationalfonds oder einer anderen Institution um die Weiterfinanzierung ihres Projektes zu bewerben. Die Doktorierenden verfassen im Rahmen des Doktoratsprogramms innerhalb der Laufzeit von drei Jahren eine Dissertation. Das Ausbildungsmodul wird nach drei Jahren mit 18 Kreditpunkten abgeschlossen.Das Anschubstipendium kann für folgende Projekte vergeben werden:Technischer Wandel: Im Forschungsgebiet «Technischer Wandel» stehen zurzeit die Themen Biotechnologie, Life Sciences Law, Data Governance, Künstliche Intelligenz, Law & Robots und Blockchain, Medizinischer Fortschritt als zivilrechtliche Herausforderung und die rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen medizinischen Fortschritts im Vordergrund. Themen aus diesen Bereichen und angrenzende Forschungsfragen sind willkommen.Gesellschaftlicher Wandel: Insbesondere Globalisierung, Digitalisierung, Migration und religiöse Pluralisierung haben tiefgreifende gesellschaftliche Veränderungsprozesse in Gang gesetzt, die sich in erheblichem Masse auch auf das Recht auswirken. Im Forschungsbereich «Gesellschaftlicher Wandel» werden Fragestellungen zusammengefasst, die in diesem Kontext einer rechtswissenschaftlichen Reflexion und Aufarbeitung bedürfen.Wirtschaftlicher Wandel: Auch der wirtschaftliche Wandel ist von der Globalisierung betroffen. Mit einem Bestand von 6 Millionen gedruckten und 3.5 Millionen elektronischen Medien, einer halben Million Besucher*innen jährlich sowie ihrem bedeutenden, bis ins 8. Jahrhundert zurückreichenden historischen Bestand geho?rt sie zu den grossen wissenschaftlichen Bibliotheken der Schweiz. Zugleich ist sie Kantonsbibliothek von Basel-Stadt und für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich. In ihrer Rolle als Vermittlerin zwischen Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft bietet sie verschiedenen Anspruchsgruppen einen vielseitigen Lern- und Begegnungsraum. Mit ihrem Tintenfrassprojekt führt die UB Basel ein abteilungsübergreifendes Projekt zur Erhaltung der historischen, von Tintenfrass geschädigten Handschriftenbestände der Bibliothek durch. In Behandlungsprozessen der präventiven Konservierung, Erschliessung und Digitalisierung sowie stabilisierenden Konservierung und Restaurierung arbeiten dabei Mitarbeiter*innen interdisziplinär zusammen, um das Fortschreiten von Tintenfrass zu verlangsamen bzw. vorhandene Schäden zu sichern. While erosion–eutrophication links are widely assumed, quantitative evidence across spatial scales remains limited. Advancing soil and water protection therefore requires improved understanding of how farming systems, land management and erosion processes influence nutrient loading in rivers and lakes, as well as better identification of eutrophication hotspots across the EU.This PhD project will develop integrated and reproducible approaches to quantify and reduce soil- and sediment-driven nutrient pollution in European catchments. It will assess the role of soil erosion and land management in phosphorus transport and eutrophication, using monitoring data from the EU Water Framework Directive to calibrate and validate advanced sediment routing and modelling approaches.
