      In this role you will be responsible to Lead the Global Service for the Excitation business with a particular attention to our installed base coverage and new initiatives to diversify and enrich our portfolio and to play a pivotal role in helping a 25%+ business growth in the next 3 years.       Your responsibilities

      • Create, plan and implement the service strategy in collaboration with regions
      • Lead globally-focused service initiatives with regions (e.g Care, Digital, Grid studies and code compliance)
      • Capture growth areas for grid stability, compliance services, digital and provide support to the regions
      • Ensure global focus to cover installed base with upgrades and care
      • Achieve service KPIs(Orders and Revenues, GM%, Service initiatives, Installed base coverage,....)
      • Ensure achievement of service targets, by designing cost-effective solutions to customers and initiating improvement plans as needed
      • Generate and identify service leads in collaboration with regional teams by analyzing the IB potential and determines account and acquisition plans to support growth in strategic areas like Grid stability, analytics, cyber and new potential Business Models
      • Establish long-term customer relationships with key customers, channel partners and decision makers by understanding the requirements, regulations and exhibiting high expertise in technical solutions and products. Ensure customer satisfaction issues are registered and responded to by team
      • Support the team by participating in sales activities when needed. Responsible for feedback on sales development, distribution of resources for service sales activities and the status of the market. Collaborate with Regions and account teams to position different service offerings. Evaluate and share relevant information on installed base data, sales leads, customer’s and competitor’s solutions and marketing trends with the team
      • Drive a culture of Integrity, safety and health across the service community. Drive health and safety practices in the units
      • Drive sales efficiency by ensuring adequate selling skills for service sales team members and that the area of responsibility is properly organized and staffed. Coach's the team in formulating sales plans, in negotiating, and in developing customer segment expertise.
      • Actively demonstrates one ABB approach and guides direct and indirect subordinates
      • Elaborate new service approach leveraging on our existing infrastructures such as remote centers, Collaborative Operations Centers and proposing new methods to diversify our value proposition

      Your background

      • 5-10+ years of experience in Service & Regional Management. Deep understanding of the Power industry, Excitation business and customer needs in the different market segments
      • Global mindset, intercultural sensitivity, and excellent communication skills as well as proven personal leadership in leading teams, shaping collaborative diverse and inclusive organizational culture with high strategic and results orientation.
      • Leader of innovation initiatives with specific attention to new digital service, cybersecurity, grid code compliance, new business model, energy transition services.
      • Support a close dialogue with customers and our colleagues in the regions with participation in customer-oriented events
      • Great desire to advise others and provide good service
      • Willingness to learn and develop as part of a team with colleagues across the whole Excitation Business Line community
