This position reports to the Head of Sales & Marketing – High Power Rectifiers.

      Your responsibilities

      • Acting as a Consultant and understanding the needs of the customer to evolve technical solutions across the table
      • Establishing and maintaining close dialogue with customer base and key prospects for the purpose of recommending best-in-class solutions (including service) and achieving defined sales targets
      • Acting as Account Manager with focus on installed base and preparing tailor-made service road maps in close collaboration with customer’s operation team
      • In addition to own projects, supporting the team in pursuit of excellence
      • Researching and analyzing sales potential relating to OEMs, metal and mining companies, Aluminum and Steel producers
      • Monitoring industry trends, market activities, and competitive environment to identify potential improvements as well as opportunities for new products and solutions
      • Reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art-practices and contributing to expert group work in order to maintain and improve technical know-how
      • Acting as a coach and mentor to local colleagues, including Local Engineering Centers and Local Sales Units
      • Accompanying local units for complex negotiations to achieve results

      Your background

      • Minimum 10 to 15 years experience in large-project sales, preferably with a focus on power electronics
      • Solid understanding of aluminum, steel, ferroalloy, electrochemical, graphitization and similar industries
      • Good knowledge of electrical, power-electronics and HV power equipment as well as indoor/outdoor substations and requirements related to green- and brownfield plants
      • A solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
      • Proven senior stakeholder management with the ability to build and foster relationships
      • A bachelor or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
      • Fluency in English, other languages are an asset
