      As a Sales Specialist you will be accountable for sales of UNITROL® and SYNCHROTACT® products and solutions in ABB Energy Industries Switzerland for Europe and worldwide, driving sales volumes and margins. In this role you will use your experience and drive to build enduring customer relationships through excellent service.

      Business Manager - Portfolio

      Your responsibilities

      • Working with marketing and product management at Turgi to prepare sales plans and bids, ensuring technical and financial accuracy
      • Working with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities worldwide
      • Using your knowledge of customers’ needs and ABB’s solutions to determine effective solutions for customers, with focus on key OEMs in power generation industry
      • Prepare, negotiate, and finalize contracts and frame agreements with key customers
      • Monitoring customer and market trends along with the marketing team to develop and drive effective marketing activities
      • Provide market insights to product management to spark innovation in product development and digital services

      Your background

      • Two years of experience in sales or sales related project management
      • Sound knowledge of control products and services in the power generation industry market
      • A proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships in commercial and technical aspects - good negotiation skills
      • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills in an international environment
      • A bachelor or master’s degree in electrical engineering or power electronics
      • Fluent in English, proficiency in German or French are advantageous
