      As a Product Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the organization complies with local and international regulations for product development, design and manufacturing, system integration, safety and reliability across the Division of Process Industries based in Baden-Dättwil, Switzerland. Reporting to the Quality and Continuous Improvement Team Leader, you will achieve compliance by developing and executing compliance programs and completing and control documentation. You will make sure that control plans are applied and effective in mitigating risks. You will share your knowledge and experience in compliance regulatory requirements, standards and norms within the organization.

      Your responsibilities

      • Research, identify and communicate compliance requirements relating to current products, new product categories, and expansion of sales to new regions
      • Take part in product development to make sure that regulatory requirements are recognized and satisfied in target markets
      • Take part in product risk assessments projects to spot and quantify safety and compliance risks, and develop mitigation plans
      • Assist in cost savings and continuous improvement projects to ensure that product compliance is maintained
      • Monitor the market, laws and industry for changing compliance requirements and needs to stay alert with changes to regulatory and agency requirements, and recommend actions required to maintain compliance of active and future products
      • Plan and execute ongoing testing and compliance documentation updates for active products
      • Lead and direct internal product teams leadership and cross-functional teams on compliance-related issues
      • Achieves compliance by developing and executing compliance programs and completing documentation
      • Assist the organization with customer issues related to non-compliance, bid proposals/responses and conformity assessment
      • Carry out audit procedures related to compliance
      • Liaise with all 3rd party certification and testing authorities

      Your background

      • Bachelor or master’s in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering
      • Demonstrated experience in assuring product compliance with regulatory requirements and knowledge of industrial product development and manufacturing
      • Min. 3-5 years of experience in industrial product compliance
      • Experience in creating visual dashboards, managing quality data and metrics
      • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and ERP systems (SAP) are an asset
      • High customer and solution orientation, paired with a communicative personality and coaching skills
      • Hands-on and problem-solving mentality to challenge “status quo”
      • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
      • Fluency in English and German. Any additional language is an asset
